I’m wanting to live off grid. I’m a 34 year old male with a an 8 year old dog. I’ve been in the construction/maintenance/property management field for quite some time. I know my way around tools and machinery very well. I’m also educated. I attended Arkansas State on a full scholarship and other trade schools. I’m not much of a drinker, i’m pro 420.

I’m at a point in my life where I feel lost. The daily grind of go to work and pay bills has really been taking a mental toll on me. I’m tired of working 40-50 hours a week just to keep falling further behind. It’s a rat race that I no longer want to be a part of.  I guess i’m looking for purpose again, something to drive me, something I can be passionate about. I’ve been debating for years now about leaving the system and going off grid, I’ve just never had the “balls” to do it.  Well I believe I’m ready. I want to be a part of something more than just myself, to help others, build and learn. If you have a place/community/project that you feel i could be a part of let me know.
