Getting closer! Made an offer on a property in Anderson CA. Only 2 acres, but that should be room enough to share with one small family who can bring their own RV or something.

I have considered the Houston area or the Dallas area. Tell me more about what you are thinking?

Still looking for the right property up near Redding. Once purchased, will able to build on it. Anybody up in this area is welcome to learn with me. After we build one project, we can start on the next. Considering earth bags rather than tires.

Does not have to be CA. Have been considering north CA or the area outside Houston. Buying TX property costs a lot less than CA, however property taxes in the area outside Houston are double that outside Redding. What areas did you have in mind?

Do you have to stay in CA?

I want to live as “green” as possible, so earthships seem the most logical way to go – but unaffordable and too much work do accomplish alone. However, if a group of us pooled our energy and resources, we could each have our own earthship community here in the “golden state” or another negotiable location.
