[before_listing id=214 images= youtube=null] I had a bucket handle tear of my meniscus, (blew out my knee), back on May 2, 2009. I’ve gained over 50 lbs. in the last year which has made my knee worse. At present I am waiting to have surgery done on my knee sometime in the next few weeks. The doctor says recovery can take 6 to 9 months.
With summer here I find it very frustrating to have all these projects and not able to do any of it. So here we are, offering help in return for help.
Living conditions are fairly primitive at the moment. We have cold water to the kitchen sink and to the bathroom toilet so it will flush. We have an on demand hot water heater waiting to be installed, and another complete bathroom to put together on the lower level. We hook up a hose for showers at this time, go swimming at the river, or go into town for hot showers at our little trailer. We’ve had a couple people that can’t handle the primitive conditions. But with the right help these conditions will improve. [landbuddy_listing id=214 youtube=null]

If this is still active, I’d like to talk to you. I’m not looking for a free ride. I have been a drywaller/carpenter/home remodeler for the past 30+ years, have well above average computer skills, and can live off the land with the clothes on my back and a knife if need be.

I’m in the process of selling-off 90% of my belongings and then I’m heading for Montana from the east coast. My younger brother is a 20-year resident of northwestern Montana.

I’m looking for someplace to hang my hat while I look the region over for work opportunities (or I should say a way to make enough income for the basics) and a remote piece of land to settle on. In return, I can do just about anything in the way of building a house or any other structure from the ground up. I’m not afraid of hard work.

If you are still looking, contact me at redda007@hotmail.com (not my regular email. I use it when I need to post an email in a public place such as this.)

Wish there was a way to comunicate without posting too much info in the open here, I have desperately been looking for some place to live pretty much off the grid, in return for services that i may provide. since i have left the millitary i am not happy to say the least about society.

Where are you located? I’m in Midwest and would like to find a place to set up aquaponics system possibly for year round operation. (Raising fish + hydroponics) for organic food.
