Outdoorsman trapped in a city slickers body

i am en experienced electrician, plumber, mechanic, locksmith, natural foods and medicinal cook, and general handyman with limited experience and knowledge in carpentry, auto mechanics, rigging, scissor lifts, machinist, solar power small appliance repair and of course, camping. I have an avid interest in alternative structures and habitats (sea cans, log cabins, tiny homes, geodesic domes, lean-tos, yurts, abandoned missile silos, etc.) with a lifelong desire to build and/or participate in an intentional and self-sufficient community, either in Ontario of in BC (lower interior or the island). I spent many years living in a macrobiotic community and studied natural healing practices and philosophies. I spent many years in the CAF as a reservist with training as an engineer, MP and infantryman. The only thing missing is my tribe. More recently I taught cooking classes, had my own bakery and worked as a private in-home cook. Hobbies include astronomy, philosophy, epidemiology, virology, water treatment, science and biology, local politics, history, languages, cooking, Hatha yoga and Taoist tai chi. Lots of experience living in co-ops, group settings and camps, organizing people and working with others. Looking for the right philosophical and practical  fit; a group that can benefit from my input, experience and ideas.
