I am going off grid this spring/2015, I have a 70 acre mortgage free property and would like to start a community. All buildings must be movable that is the only condition, if interested send me a message.

We are a couple looking for an off-grid opportunity. Is there the potential to buy in and acquire land from you? If you are still looking for people to join you please email me with details.

“While bees have different roles and functions within the hive they all have the same goal in mind of contributing to a healthy colony, while still maintaining freedom of individuals.”

That’s exactly what I’m aiming for.

Hi everyone, thank you for responding, its great to hear from people who want to do the same things. I thought I should put into words what I want to do over the next couple of years and if you are interested you can add your story to mine. I have a motorhome that I will be using as a kitchen/living room, a 10 by 12 canvas tent that will be sitting on a trailer for a bedroom, I want to build a greenhouse and have a huge garden with lots of fruit trees, I am learning about permaculture and aquaponics, and want to incorporate both into my life, I am a herbalist and a newbie forager. I have all the tools that are need to build and a ton of knowledge and knowhow. Eventually it would be great to add a common area/kitchen. I am unsure at this point if I want to have animals as it takes money to keep them and I have no knowledge on taking care of them. I will have a few chickens and ducks eventually. So that is my story, tell me yours and lets see if we can put them together.

HI Laura and Nancy, I am so thrilled to see woman wanting this kind of life. I will be located in River Hebert Nova Scotia Canada, which is 30 minutes outside of Amherst NS. What I am hoping for is a few people that can build their own lives on the land that all works towards a community. Tell me what you are looking for and ask any questions you have.
