[before_listing images=https://www.off-grid.net/wp-content/uploads/866a435cac9dbeae1cde5abb8af5b97e.png youtube=null] Hi,

I’m looking for either a community or a group of starters who want to live or do live in a wooded area. I’d want to be as reliant on nature as possible and would want to minimize the need for use of money. I am looking for serious people who are and will be committed to long-term or permanent residence in such a community. I’m also very willing to join an existing community of sorts.

I am a 20 year old student, I am not experienced or skilled (yet) but I am eager to learn. I am calm, friendly, careful and independent.
I am an Atheist but I am completely tolerant of any and every conviction, as long as people let me be as well. I do believe in the beauty and spirituality of nature.

I am NOT looking for communities or people that want to be a part of society only living in a sustainable home.

If you find yourself in this description don’t hesitate to send me a message so we can discuss some ideas.

How have you guys done so far? I am looking for the same and wondering what responses you have gotten so far. Very soon I want to join a group like yours and looking to stay close to this area after I retire from work. I am 52 but very fit and bring a lot of skills. Not an expert in anything but I have learned to be very self-reliant. I am a mechanic by trade but have done a lot in construction as well. I have a small garden and chickens. Looking to get off the monetary system as much as possible :)

Hi, I see we have a few things in common. I’m turned 20 this month and I’m also an atheist, I agree with wanting to minimize the use for money as it is my biggest stress factor in life and I’ve grown to hate the feeling of working for money and material things. I’m not sure how much help I’d be to you at the moment because I don’t have many survival skills or knowledge about living off the land but maybe I could be part of your journey and we could benefit each other. I hope you’ll be interested in talking to me to see if we’d be compatible
