Going out and about for a few days or living full-time away from Utilities, the Kodiak box from Outdoor Technology is one of the better power sources.
Its a rubber-covered power brick for around $50 US, that promises to withstand water splashes and low-level drops ensuring it is a capable camper.
Under the rubberised hood, it features a rechargeable battery with 6000mAh of power, or enough to charge some phones four times. It weighs 266g and it only features one USB outlet, but that outlet can switch between one and two-amp power to charge phones and tablets.
In Australia – $69.95 / outdoor-technology.com.au
