[before_listing images=http://www.www.off-grid.net/wp-content/uploads/9d188e3d9427689327630f8cedb86126.jpg youtube=null] My name is alex and im 22 still living at home. im looking to be more adventurous by hiking and backpacking, and bushcrafting. The problem is I dont have the money but I am a hard worker and willing to learn everything I can so I can be more independent. My inspiration for all this is Christopher McCandless. While he is my inspiration, I do not wish to entirely follow in his footsteps and die in the wild from eating the wrong plant. I see my friends and family all depending on technology far more than they should and I feel that I should work towards learning how to live off grid. Any help you could provide I would be most grateful and thankful beyond words. I can move at anytime, I am looking for people willing to teach and can help me be free from my government. I am not looking for super extremists looking to fight the government or for free spirit love the earth people, im looking for down to earth people that just want to live a free lifestyle and can depend wholly upon themselves.
