here we go my wife and I, that is. we have an rv we are going to convert into a permanent home. we are going to purchase land in alabama with the surrounding land available to buy. would like others of like minds to be our neighbors. if interested in alabama, give me a holler and ill let you know more. our funds are limited and this venture will most likely force us to get parttime jobs so we will be within commuting distance of a big city. this is for people looking for land. no offense i cant afford squatters(drama free zone) just yet.

our idea is to be about 75% free of electricity and no grocery bill. im not a dreamer and know this will take years but we ARE in the process of doing, not talking. having a community of driven hard working and responsible neighbors will make life that much easier.

anyway, best of luck to us all.

Hi There ! I have been interested residing in a community of sorts, with a strong focus on self sufficency and you both seem interested by all that is expressed. I firmly believe less is best and what could be better, than growing your own food as a group effort and then sharing the spoils. My question is what areas of Alabama are you most focused on ? I hope to hear back from you and Big Blessings in your efforts.
    In Light, Anita
