My Victorian house has a brick lined underground rain water tank and all the down pipes run into it. I have a pond pump connected to a repro cast iron pump, I allready use it to water garden. I would love to be self sufficient in water, but am on a very low income any suggestions.

I’m saving up for a cheap log burner to make my free wood go furthur if I install it in the kitchen can I boil water/cook on it?

    Thanks Rachel
