    We are researching a fridge.

Initially, I was thinking about ripping a large AC/DC/Propane unit out of a wrecked motor home…till I saw how much it would drink in DC to operate.

The DC operation was nothing more than a heating coil below the propane burner!

After looking into the propane units, I began to check out the DC units.

This one seems to be pretty nice, but at Bens wholesale, it only gets a 2.5 out of 5 star rating. (But I cannot see WHY it ranked so poorly.)

…sure could use some info if any of you have it. Thanks in advance.

i have a friend who has been installing solar systems for 30 years. in the winters he works in costa rica. he has several of the sunfrost 12/dc down there and reccomended i get one.

yup thos domemetic dual fuels are real energy hogs on the dc side.

sun elec has the sunfrost and i think does free shipping on appliances.
