We are looking to move off grid to Washington state. I’m having a hard time finding info about good regions to live in. Any personal experiences or other info would be appreciated. Thank you.

I lived in the Seattle area for 4 years, and traveled the area.   For off-grid living,  Klikitat County is green for off-grid homes from the Pockets of Freedom  (on page two now) link.   It is the furthest south (best solar) in the safe zone away from the worst effects of Cascadia, too(coast and SeaTac areas).    The links in the Pockets of Freedom thread will also show wind power, and solar power,  potential, along with future climate and growing plants zone.
