This is a heads up for those of you who are living full time in your vehicles.

When researching insurance, I found out that most plans will not cover a vehicles that are being lived in full time. Quite a shocker when you get into your first big accident, and the insurance company refuses to help in ant way . These days, insurance companies will use any and every excuse not to pay a claim, and this may be a big red herring that they grab onto.

I ended up shopping for another insurance company after being with the same co for oever 10 years, just for that “full-timer” option. Additional plus that would provide is a bigger property coverage, if your van is stolen and all your valuables lost. it also covers the hotel stay and incidentals more than conventional insurance.

Please be aware, and make sure your coverage does cover all aspects of your vehicle.
