    Fuel prices and food prices are becoming increasingly intertwined, and the food security picture in the uk is brittle, with there not being many options other than the supermarket for many people.

    Please take a couple of minutes to make yourself heard, and follow this link by copying it into your browser, then send the link to as many of your friends and relations as you can think of.

    We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Make it compulsory that

    local authorities and developers make provision for allotments and community

    gardens on every new development. Waiting lists are huge we need more

    allotment sites.

    Nice idea, but I have this suspicion that in the country that ZanuLabor has made for us, any idea of an inner city communal garden will see theft as soon as prices rise. Yes, it’s happened forever, but not like the sudden increases in theft were are seeing round some allotments here (and I’m talking “good” areas!).

    Not that I’m against the idea at all!
