Cyndi, I apologize for not taking care of this sooner, you are more than welcome to stay and contribute, your knowledge and experience is valid and valuable here. I live 100% off grid, we do things that other people wouldn’t feel comfortable doing, we do things that some would consider dangerous, or at the least, risky, it’s for us to decide how much of a risk we wish to take, especially if it doesn’t put others at risk.

It’s OK to disagree with people, it’s not OK to be disagreeable and rude. Facts can be given in a civil manner, words written in forums don’t necessarily transmit the author’s original emotion and I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but attacks will not be tolerated, period. For everyone reading this, understand that my words above mean exactly what I wrote, we can disagree in a civil manner, we can state facts to back up what we write, but rudeness will not be tolerated.

Everyone has different ideas of what being off grid means, no one person has all of the right answers, we are all living unique lives, and that’s OK.

For now, I’ll leave the posts as they are so that anyone reading this will know exactly what is being discussed here, I’ll leave it until/unless Nick wants it removed.
