[before_listing images= youtube=null] Hi! My name’s Joey, I’m a 23 y/o who’s sick and tired of always being sick and tired. The only time in my life I felt good was when I lived with nature for three months. We hiked, cooked over campfire, and I fixed my glasses with some string from my clothes. When I came home, my mom offered to take me to the drugstore to get one of those glasses-fixem kits and I started crying. We are a consumer and service oriented culture and I’m getting more bitter every day I stay in this greed and hate ridden society. I work at a call center with air conditioning, ergonomic everything, and no windows. I sit on my butt all day. I want to get my hands dirty, take breaks in the sun, work for my food instead of working for money. My vision is not a Utopia, there will be work to be done and nothing is ever easy. Think Amish with less religion (not to say no spirituality) and less repression. Even as a little girl I always said I wanted to go out and live in a forest. Why can’t I make that a reality? Email me for more information and details about what I’m thinking as well as helpful suggestions and what you may be thinking/possible collaborations. Thanks! beautifulchaosgifts@gmail.com[landbuddy_listing youtube=null]

Spring of 2014 I am buying 20 acres north of Colville Washington to start a off grid life and small community if I can find good people to do it with me. You can email me at simpleman7903 at yahoo if you want to talk about what I’m trying to do.

Hey Joey, great post! Chances are you know this, but I’ll say it anyway for the record: your ideals are nothing short of healthy mind and dont let anyone tell you any different. There’s many of us out here making efforts towards exactly the same idea…. all the power us !! Anyway, we should talk, the more like minds working together , the faster things happen:)
