Cabin is located TWO HOURS NORTH OF SPOKANE WA

We are offering two years (more are negotiable) of remote off grid living in a beautiful setting in NE. Washington just south of the Canadian border. No cash rent, just your skilled construction labor. We are North of Colville about 20 miles on a 212 acre heavily forested estate. Very quiet and remote living.
If you would like to live in a beautiful very small, remote, secluded off-grid 300 sf. cabin and HAVE THE SKILLS to finish it then maybe we can work something out.
The cabin has the roof shingles on, gutters & downspouts and windows installed. It will need most everything else finished to be livable such as:
Plumbing, electrical/solar system, insulation, wall paneling, basic cabinets, flooring, stain & install siding, grading and landscaping, etc. You get the picture. (I will take care of the building materials and septic and water supply). I can provide the expertise & tools with occasional help but most all of the work needs to be done by yourself.
This is truly off the grid living. Solar/propane powers the lights, small refrigerator & stove. Indoor plumbing with water pressure at the cabin. NO utility bills except any propane or generator gas you may use. I supply a small generator for construction and for you to use after you move in.
You can expect limited access during the snow/mud seasons (1/2 the year). Half mile to the closest plowed roads. The cabin is currently snowed in and won’t be accessible for construction until April/May so that’s when you could start working on it. We can provide (living quarters) a basement room for you to stay in when not at the cabin.
We are very negotiable with any suggestions you may come up with. We can’t offer any cash payments but only the use of the cabin for an extended period of time.
PLEASE, NO smoking, heavy drinking or illegal drugs. Must be very clean and can pass a background check along with personal references. We can also supply references if requested. Couples may apply but this is not a good place for a large family (cabin is too small).
There are many details that need to be worked out but these are the basics.
If seriously interested and you have the skills/experience, please call or email me.
Thank you, Dennis
