I had a bucket handle tear of my meniscus, (blew out my knee), back on May 2, 2009. I’ve gained over 50 lbs. in the last year which has made my knee worse. At present I am waiting to have surgery done on my knee sometime in the next few weeks. The doctor says recovery can take 6 to 9 months.
With summer here I find it very frustrating to have all these projects and not able to do any of it. So here we are, offering help in return for help.
Living conditions are fairly primitive at the moment. We have cold water to the kitchen sink and to the bathroom toilet so it will flush.We have an on demand hot water heater waiting to be installed, and another complete bathroom to put together on the lower level. We hook up a hose for showers at this time, go swimming at the river, or go into town for hot showers at our little trailer. We’ve had a couple people that can’t handle the primitive conditions. But with the right help these conditions will improve.
