We Own /take care of 388 acres at Ruapekapeka, Northland, New Zealand. We Have been Wanting to build a Retreat here for 5 years but due to Physical Restraints (broken Leg that never healed properly & Age I’m 51 my partners Diabetic & 56) we haven’t been able to Build much at all Yet. But as there’s just the two of Us and we Think if there’s people Out there like Us that would like to Build a Retreat/Self Sufficient Lifestyle then We’d Love to Hear from them as its Not easy doing it with just two people but with Many Hands as the saying goes the Work is Easier . We are Hoping to Build & Get help to Build from Like Minded People”Yurt Type Earth Ships” & Be Totally Self Sufficient, We already have Three House Cows “:Katie, Lulu, & Rosie” and we are now working on More House cows for the Future which are Currently 10 day old Heifer Calves, Chooks & Roosters, a Horse “Casey” incase All Transport that is Petrol or Diesel Related Falls Over, One Beautiful German Short Haired Pointer Dog Named “Pip”. Theres Wild Pigs in the Bush that Surrounds Us on Three sides, we’re Totally Private & Totally Off the Grid & thats what we wanted & Hope to Met Up with Other People who Would Like to Live the Way we do & Make it a Better Life For Each Other.. We are Both Christians But live more by the Philosophy of the Words of “Desidrata” ….
