Living in a country where water and electricity are scarce, in the pathway for hurricanes and in the middle of tectonic plates really makes you focus on what is essential.

Solar and wind power is gaining traction in my country, but i wish to be part of a communal project if possible, in which one can pull its on weight and make it “autonomous” in regards to energy consumption and waste management.

I’m a 30 year old physician, with anarchist views and that strives in self-sufficiency. Any comment, question or ideas are well received.

I live in the capital of my country, Santo Domingo de Guzmán.
