RV Couple seeks to join others Off Grid

Seems to me there are many looking to break free of mainstream societies ways, but also involve many obstacles to overcome. We are looking to join others who already live off the grid, or team up with others to find aplace together.

When considering our own ideals such as location,lifestyle and all sorts of other factors, finding suitable partnerships may not happen quickly. And even if it did, what do you do when its not working out as planned?

I’ll tell you what I did. Bought myself a camper, didn’t spend a lot, and started the transition to off grid on my own in the vast free land use of the Southwest. There are actually areas all over the country you can camp totally free. In the mean time I explore other options at my leisure, and serves as a back up plan for any failed negotiations. The beauty of an RV is that where ever you go, you’re already home, and even better, an every day adventure at that. At any rate,
I welcome anyone to join the club on wheels and start living the dream instead of waiting for it. Anyone interested but stuck in some way, there’s always some way of getting what you need on any budget. take it from me, I was there.

hey, yep, I did that. bought rv, 2 days later, nearly died in it. all my money was in that unit.
that was my whole idea. not I can’t replace the unit. I agree totally. it’s hard to find people to get together to do this. wish I had a way to get another rv, as I feel like you, ideal.

Thats some stroke of bad luck Rachel , and as it goes, there are no fool proof plans. The best we can do is be prepared for the unexpected and deal with things as they come. For good reason there’s an old saying… “Dont put all your eggs in one basket” !!! Most anything is fixable, where there’s a will there’s a way (look its philosophy day .lol) Auctions are excellent possibilities for great deals on all sorts of stuff, which is exactly where I snagged mine for only 650 bucks and was in perfect working order. Think outside the box a little as see what can happen.

Problems strike us all, there are no fool proof plans and so the best we can do is expect the unexpected and deal with issues as they come. There is an old saying and for good reason… “never put all your eggs in one basket”. Live and learn as it goes right. Starting from scratch is a real drag, but where there’s a will there’s a way. Save some cash up for another unit, auctions sport a excellent possibilities for good deals. I paid 650 bucks for my camper that valued around 5 grand. The deals are out there, just have to think outside the box a little. And hey, if you would like more info on this sort of thing, feel free to ask. Finding good stuff for cheep is one of the many things I do for a living.
