Glass bottles are a great building material – strong, long-lasting and beautiful if handled correctly. They can be used for hundreds of things, from decoration and food storage to UV water treatments and windows.

This video show a fast and effective method to cut glass bottles without fracturing the edges or breaking the top. The technique involves using a glass cutter and pouring a small amount of hot and cold water just over the cutting line.
