by LEVITICUS0751 on NOVEMBER 23, 2011 - 10 Comments in I WANT TO GO OFF GRID

I am a loving kind hearted person looking to get off the grid and live life fully. I am hard working so i can help with anything that is needed and i have many talents to offer. I have no money really, i have a job but it’s only part time that pays bills. So i would like to find a community of off the grid folks or someone that wants to go off the grid with me. I’m a musical person and love all of the arts, so i can bring entertainment too. So pleeease email me and get to know me if you are interested. levimcguire2005@yahoo.com

reply to cecil & parker’s comment:
I want the same as you both. But I am in my 50′s now, sons are grown and are raising their own families. I have been an adventuresome soul the last 15 yrs and traveled a great deal, am an artist by trade. In spirit I am a pioneer woman and I want to live it now. I can do the loner thing but like you I don’t want to. Been researching the off grid thing for about 3 years and I have a modest nest egg to do it on. I too would be braver and more sucessful with a friend or two to combine efforts like building a cabin. I can grow a garden, can it up, sew, cook anything from scratch, nurse the sick (retired nurse of 23 yrs.), ride a horse, milk a cow, skin a rabbit or two, out fish a pro, tell a tale that would make Steven King cry “mama”, and still be a girl. But I can’t go off grid alone, and I can’t hold both end s of a log. So, there you go. What could we do? Willing to share with like minded and able.

P.S. going to do this one way or another as my last great adventure.

angie, I have been planing to live off the gird for over 5 years. I have been off the grid a year now. Got my earth bag home about 3/4 done. It has been hard to do it by myself but do-able.I live in colorado over looking the san luis valley. It’s great I myself have worked in the medical field for over 22 years and sure do not miss it.

I have 80 acres in NW Nevada….and I am looking to get the right group of individuals together to create a place of freedom. So when do we start?

This is for Angie. Hi Angie, I want to do the same…..I have the land (17acres) in Ozark hills area of Missouri, I am 46, female, my girls are gone and grown as well. Anyway, you sound very much like me in thoughts and wishes…I want the same things. Please email me for details if you are interested because honestly, two people who have never met, building a cabin together is probably more difficult than we can imagine. Please email to kcmcdermott31@gmail.com with more details as to your wishes for the future. Thank you and have a nice day! K

You all are wonderful and it sounds like you all understand. Maybe we could all come together with something.

I’m just another guy (52) interested in off-grid living. I don’t have money but I have many skills I can offer (electrical, solar, electronic) and fun too!
