I am currently semi off grid during my construction weekends and am building a homestead on 40 acres in Orlando which will be 100% off grid when completed. The construction is in excavation stage with hand sewn log cabin in the works. My plan is to go back into cattle and semi retirement at what most would consider a young age, mostly I am just tired of “the grind”.
I have tools, knowledge and supplies and am willing to swap trade, barter, etc for materials, labor, equipment, supplies, etc and am looking for others in the state whom would like to co-op or simply share ideas.
I am not interested in saving the world, I find the idea of “carbon foot prints” hysterically funny. Trees are for firewood, not hugging! I enjoy simplicity, low cost and comfort within.

hello. I am eager to learn more about, and get involved in, homesteading. I am very handy and self driven. I, too, am tired of the grind. I’d be interested in working (hard), and learning, possibly in preparation for my homestead, down the line. I have family & friends in Orlando and am familiar with the area.
Hello! I’m a young woman looking for a project to dedicate myself to. I’m very interested in learning to build earthships, and I don’t mind tough manual labor. I have some experience in organic gardening, but what I lack in skill, I hope to make up for in sheer determination, and my drive to learn, and self-sustain. I believe the best way to learn is through doing. I’m just looking for someone who would let me work for my keep while I do so. :)
How can I contact anyone who leaves a message to offer them a chance to help , and learn how to set up off the grid project?
I am currently living in Daytona Beach, and am very interested in going off-grid within the next year. My spouse and I are both currently working full-time in Daytona. We have a 10 year old child. We are interested in perma-culture and are both very hard workers. Since we are close to you, perhaps we could arrange a visit?

Hello, I would love to discuss this with you further even if it only allows me to come help out part time. I am already living in orlando and have been building plans to follow in similar footsteps as you seem to be taking, though I will probably not start with as much land as you. Please let me know if I could help in any way. crwilson56@yahoo.com
