I would like to learn as much as possible for my family and to also help others. I’m currently in the military and have a wife with two kids. Anything for me?

Check out the ad in classifieds section of this site- Real Estate. “40 Acres Remote NW Colorado”, price is $100,000. I’ll try to repost the ad with images, but have been having trouble getting that to work. Email me if you are interested and I can send you pictures.

Hi CC!
My family lives in Englewood and I saw your ad. Just curious if you still have this property for sale? It *appear* by your link that you are in the Gaunella Pass area. I am certainly interested in any Colorado property. Thank you!

I have 24.91 acres off grid, but with land line up directly on site. Year round creek; 330 feet of water. Spectacular views, timberland tax status, only $27 a year taxes; county allows 1 acre for homesite to still keep in low tax rate. Upper level of land has private gated road with handful of residents in area, all off grid. Lower section of property has US Forest road along creekside, 1/4 mile to US Forest. Lots of wildlife and medicinal herbs growing. Newer (2011) Bronco B1251 camper setup on property, self-sustained with shower, toilet, gas stove, bed, + convertible table to bed. Live in this while building! Outbuilding for generator storage and more. Located close to Canada in NE Washington State. $55,500.

I’m looking to go off the grid with my family. We have 4 children (14,13,12,9). Would prefer a community type thing but middle of no where is fine as well. My biggest problem is location and financing. We need to be within a 8 hour drive from Nashville, TN. Would prefer not living in ky or tn. We haven’t been able to save much money spending $800 in rent, $300 electric, etc but I can verify I bring in $1,800 a month no matter what and my husband owns a tree service so we can get additional income practically anywhere. Would prefer payments between $400-700 the first few months so we can build a shelter etc but can pay more monthly after that. We would need easy access to water and at least 10 acres of land for animals and crops. If any of you know of anything like this please let me know. :)

We are looking for an off grid small home and/or land that we can rent/purchase in Washington state. Preferably around Orting, Graham, Enumclaw or reasonable distance from Sumner. Also, we would not be opposed to being a part of a self-sufficiant community. Any suggestions? I respond better via email. Thanks!

Hello, we have been looking for a while now. Nothing has turned up and I found this site. To make a long story short, kids are grown, grand-kids are coming. spent some time in war, NOW I am ready for peace!!! a place to hang my hat and call my own. We’ve been victims of fraud, so things are a little leery. But, one things stays true…..and that’s to get the heck out of here …would like remote spot with at least an acre hopefully more. I have helped to build homes for others in different countries, (all off grid like, and remote). I have come to enjoy this and would like to do something NOW before I get to darn old…
looking for rent or to buy, we like the wooded area’s with a water source, able to drill my own well, looking forward to hearing from someone so that we might be able to get a hold of THAT American DREAM!! THANKS!!
