Looking for suitable homestead
by AENIPH on JULY 17, 2010 - 3 Comments in I WANT TO GO OFF GRID
I’ve been increasingly more interested in finding a piece of land near enough to Ogden to maintain my current employment (until I replace it) but far enough to be away. I’m currently working on helping my parents turn their 5 acre yard into a fully sustained farm and would like to use those skills for my wife and I to sustain ourselves year round independent of urban lifestyle. If anyone knows of good sites or sellers or donations nearby, let me know.

I was going to suggest buying some abandoned farm land in the Pecos, Texas area…as cheap as
$100-300/acre……but, you posted a map of your preferred area northwest of me about 1000 miles.
So, never mind.

I’m not actually terribly opposed to moving. What information do you have? I’d like to review it please.

Hi, I have several parcels that may be of interest to you. They are located in Southern Utah, but could definitely work if you are willing to move check out my webpage
