Sabo – will work for food
Jenny Sabo is a hard scrabble farmer and an eco-pioneer.  She believes soil health and sustainable farming is a national issue. She started Women of the Dirt , a group of farm-women across southwest Montana who share information on sustainable foods, gardening and livestock.

Farmers from all over the country now consult Women of the Dirt about sustainable farming practices.

“They are young, vivacious, very grounded people with a lot of technical capacity and personal passion,”

About the greenhouse heated by chickens: are you referring to their body heat? I imagine it smells real swell in a warm greenhouse with chickens and…well…chicken poop wafting in the air :) And how do you keep the chickens out of the growing food in the greenhouse? My experience with chickens is that they eat every kind of food, growing, cooked or spoiled, they don’t care.

I have heard of you gals, I would like to come to a meeting. I just started a farm so to speak. I live just outside of Bozeman.
