Off-Grid was the first web site to feature MJ's eco-songs and to mention the fact that he had spoken out for the environment. Many others followed us.

Michael Jackson was one of a kind. My 9 year old daughter has become a fan after she listened to my 20 yr old collection of MJ casettes. That's the power of his music. Can influence all ages, generation after generation. There will never be another like him. Had he been a social problem, the Justice System would have fixed it. Until then, Love him and Respect him for his wonderful music. I miss u MJ.

"LEAVE HIM ALONE" My feelings exactly!!! Why waste time and energy if you can't say something nice on anything. Mike made a big difference. Someone needs to concentrate on "the man in the mirror". U know who U are!!!!

I LOVE this song (the Earth Song)! It's got a great beat, and the message is very powerful! The comment above (from Jason) is off the mark. There's no evidence that Neverland Ranch was any more of a contributor to global warming than any other home. And as far as riding home on his own personal jet, I'm not aware of Michael Jackson owning his own jet, but if he did, it certainly would make sense...was he expected to fly on a commercial airline? Is that realistic? Do you ever see entertainers of his caliber flying on Southwest Airlines??? Come on! Finally, as for the allegations of child molestation, he was tried and acquitted twice on these charges. If there had been sufficient evidence against him, he certainly would have been convicted! I think having young children spend the night at his home was unusual, but what about the parents of these kids? Would you allow your children to spend the night unattended at a superstar's house? I think if anyone deserves blame here, it's the parents of these children! Think about it...and let Michael R.I.P. He was an extremely talented individual, who touched many lives, and who tried to help the world. Leave him alone!

OK. I don't want to sound like an ass, but have you ever heard of Neverland Ranch? Do you care to imagine what kind of environmental footprint this egomaniac's lifestyle had? Sweet baby Jesus, let's all get teary cause he sang a song about the earth, then flew back home on his own jet to his own damn amusement park!!!! If actions speak louder than words, I can't see how anyone could classify Michael Jackson as any kind of "hero for the environment"...
