Well, I was right, it is a girl! I talked to my DIL today, she had a sonogram, they determined she is 5 months along, the baby is very healthy and all girl. :)

Now I am trying to figure out how I am going to get out there. I would like to be there for the delivery and spend about a month helping my DIL. It’s her first, I don’t know how much experience she has with babies, I think not much, though I could be entirely wrong. At any rate, when it’s your first, it’s good to have an experienced mom along to help with things, let you know if things are normal or not, to teach all those little (and big) things that don’t necessarily come naturally. I don’t want to be gone more than a month, that is as long as I could stand being away from my hubby, baby (the 4 legged one) and my life out here. I have to admit, this is one of the very few things that would make me leave here and go back to the city…
