We love hearing from readers like Melina Hubbard, who dropped us a few lines from the 3G laptop in back of her van:-
I have a bright red, ex-Parcelforce leyland daff, Convoy, the re con starter motor packed up the other day so I am stuck at a friend’s in Exeter while I get funds together to fix it.

Hopefully it wont take long. Four walls are starting to close in on me! I have a small terrier for a burglar alarm, beautiful french wood burner with cooking rings, gas hob, candles and cupboards, I have been in it a couple of years now, it needs a little T.L.C, and I am applying to the princes trust for funds to improve it and my business prospects.

I work in Cornwall and Devon mainly, at arts festivals, music festivals, after school clubs, youth clubs etc. I also produce my own sculpture in the landscape, in a somewhat gorilla approach as and when I have the time and resources. This is what I love to do most.

My mission is to re connect people with the land by using imagination and creativity within the landscape, I am hoping this may develop a little more respect and ownership of our beautiful world.

great to see someone else living thier life under the radar! living alternatively is the only way to go. thought i was alone!lived in an old bedford bus for two years. now living in caravan. hoping to move down to crete this summer. i saw your picture! my dog jack(a border terrier) sits on my knee when i drive! all the very best melina
