David and Cameron
The star of Trippin and the author of the Live Earth Global Warming Survival Handbook – it’s a green dream and it will have the UK Tory leader David Cameron in a green spin.
Cameron Diaz and new boyfriend David de Rothschild are an item according to the London Daily Mail, which describes the 28 year old environmentalist as “the millionaire heir to the Rothschild banking fortune.”
34-year-old Cameron was seen backstage at the US leg of Live Earth where according to witnesses, “they hung out in the VIP section of the event, and seemed pretty friendly.”
And later they reportedly enjoyed a romantic dinner together at New York City’s Stanton Social Restaurant. “I’d never push my ideologies onto someone,” de Rothschild told People magazine last month says, “but I probably wouldn’t date somebody who runs around in a private jet.” Hmmmm. It seems from the photo, a car is ok, though.
David is, like Diaz’ former love Justin Timberlake, younger than the Hollywood star, but, is an adventurer, and “should to be more than able to give athletic Cameron a run for her money – when it comes to outdoor pursuits,” smirks the Mail.
De Rothschild lives in Leighton Buzzard, England. “I grow my own vegetables,” he says. He also bikes to get around his rural town (he doesn’t own a car) and in 2009 plans to sail across the Pacific on a boat made from recycled plastic bottles. “The message is about the amount of trash in our oceans,” he says.
“I love baths,” says de Rothschild. “But I try to share them–that’s a good ecotip!”
