		<description>Have you noticed any difference in the  fuel effiency of your van when you are running the alternator?  It will be loading the engine to some degree and may make a noticable difference depending on the charging required, so adding a switch to choose to take it off line when you do not need to top up the battery may be an idea. 

Also, and perhaps more obvious, is the truck battery easily removable so you can choose when to carry the weight?</description>
