Measure your ecological footprint
by JULIETTE SMITH on SEPTEMBER 16, 2004 - 0 Comments in COMMUNITY

If you wonder what your impact on the planet is, then you might want to take the Ecological Footprint Quiz.

The ecological footprint is a tool for measuring our consumption of natural resources and waste output within the context of nature’s renewable and regenerative capacity. Every living creature has an ecological footprint, which is fine as long as it is within the annual regenerative capabilities of nature: it is then said to be sustainable. Your personal ecological footprint will take into the account the amount of pressure you put on the planet by living the way you do: eating certain food, driving your car, using mains electricity etc. The Quiz will give you an idea of what your footprint is and how to reduce it.
