No qualifications are needed to cruise a canal boat, although you do need to learn a few basics before you leave.

Canal boats can be hired for a week or more, for a family holiday or a trip with friends they can hold up to 12 people. Prices vary depending on the time of the year, usually between 50 and 150 per person per week.
There are also hotel boats for a nice romantic holiday. They usually do not accept children, but everything’s catered for, allowing you to sit and go with the flow!
