No qualifications are needed to cruise a canal boat, although you do need to learn a few basics before you leave.

Boat

Canal boats can be hired for a week or more, for a family holiday or a trip with friends – they can hold up to 12 people. Prices vary depending on the time of the year, usually between £50 and £150 per person per week.

There are also hotel boats for a nice romantic holiday. They usually do not accept children, but everything’s catered for, allowing you to sit and go with the flow!
